The Scarlets have announced that Wales flanker Josh Macleod will serve as captain for a second consecutive season.
Josh Macleod made only three appearances last season due to ankle and knee injuries and hasn’t played since facing Clermont in January.
The 27-year-old is nearing a return but will miss the URC opener against Benetton in Treviso on Saturday, with Gareth Davies stepping in as captain.
“It’s a huge honor for me and my family,” Macleod said. “The past couple of years have been challenging, but I’m looking forward to getting back on the field soon.”
