Youngster Sullivan Makes MLS History at Just 14.

Fourteen-year-old midfielder Cavan Sullivan from the Philadelphia Union has made history as the youngest player ever in Major League Soccer (MLS).

Fourteen-year-old Cavan Sullivan, who is expected to move to Manchester City when he turns 18, made history as the youngest player in MLS. He debuted at 14 years and 293 days, breaking Freddy Adu's record by 13 days.

Sullivan entered as an 85th-minute substitute during Philadelphia Union's 5-1 victory over New England Revolution at Subaru Park in Pennsylvania.

Notably, he also became the youngest North American player in a top-flight team sport.

Sullivan signed the largest homegrown player deal in MLS history with Philadelphia in May, citing the collaboration between the Union and City Group as a decisive factor.

Reflecting on his future with Manchester City, Sullivan expressed excitement, describing them as "every kid's dream team."

Freddy Adu, whose record Sullivan broke, congratulated him on social media, acknowledging the significance of Sullivan's debut.
