Jones Makes Comeback as Wales Captain for WXV2 Tournament in South Africa.

Hannah Jones is set to lead Wales once again as captain for the upcoming WXV2 tournament in South Africa, kicking off later this month. Her return brings a boost of experience and leadership as Wales prepares to take on some of the top teams in this exciting new competition.

Hannah Jones returns as captain for Wales in the WXV2 tournament after missing the recent loss to Scotland, where Keira Bevan led the team.

Jones and other senior players are back in Ioan Cunningham's 30-player squad, set to face Australia, Italy, and Japan in Cape Town.

New faces include second row Alaw Pyrs, prop Maisie Davies, and hooker Rosie Carr, who debuted against Scotland.

Prop Jenni Scoble could earn her first Test cap, while Olympian Kayleigh Powell replaces Robyn Wilkins at fly-half.

Alaw Pyrs joins her sister, Gwenllian, while Gwen Crabb, returning from injury, misses out. Hannah Bluck is chosen over Megan Webb in the center.
