Brentford forward Yoane Wissa will be sidelined for a couple of months due to an ankle injury he picked up in the match against Manchester City, according to head coach Thomas Frank.
The 28-year-old Yoane Wissa had to leave the pitch in the first half of Brentford's 2-1 loss to Manchester City on Saturday after a tackle by Mateo Kovacic.
Wissa, who scored Brentford's opening goal, is expected to be out until November.
Head coach Thomas Frank confirmed, 'It looks like Wissa will be sidelined for a couple of months. It's frustrating, especially with our recent injury problems.'
Frank noted that injuries have been an issue, with previous setbacks to Igor Thiago, Aaron Hickey, and now Wissa and Mathias Jensen. Despite the challenges, he remains focused on finding solutions and moving forward.
