URC Honors: Munster's Rowntree Earns Coach of the Year Award.

Graham Rowntree from Munster has been recognized as the Coach of the Year for the 2023-24 season in the United Rugby Championship.

Rowntree's impact on Munster has been substantial. Despite a recent setback in this season's play-offs against Glasgow, Munster's journey under Rowntree's guidance has been noteworthy.

They secured the 2022-23 title under his leadership and entered this season's play-offs as top seeds, having dominated the regular season with 13 wins out of 18 games.

A highlight was their impressive double triumph over the Bulls and Lions in South Africa in April.

Rowntree's tenure since 2022 has been marked by a remarkable 11-win streak post-Christmas, showcasing his ability to inspire and lead Munster to consistent success on the rugby field.

Last week was a big win for Munster as three of their players, Jack Crowley, Alex Nankivell, and Tadhg Beirne, were honored in the URC's Elite XV.

Jack Crowley, the talented Ireland fly-half, stood out further by clinching the next-gen player of the season award.

Meanwhile, Shane Daly's consistent performance earned him the ironman award for logging the most playing minutes.

The anticipation continues as the URC's players' player of the season will be revealed this Thursday, adding more excitement to Munster's achievements in the league.
