Uncapped Wing Regan Grace Surprises with Wales Call-Up.

Wales have unexpectedly called up Bath wing and rugby league convert Regan Grace, who has yet to earn a cap in rugby union, to their summer squad.

Grace has been called up to replace Ospreys wing Keelan Giles, who is out with a groin injury.

The 27-year-old switched to rugby union in 2022, but Achilles injuries delayed his debut.

Since Grace plays for an English club, he won't be available for Saturday's match against South Africa at Twickenham, which is outside World Rugby's international window. However, he could make his first professional rugby union appearance in the two-Test series against Australia in July.

Prop Henry Thomas is injured and will miss the game against the Springboks. Keiron Assiratti will start, and Harri O'Connor has been added to the bench.

Wales will announce their final 34-man squad for the Australia tour after the South Africa game.
