Tyrrell Hatton's Move to LIV Golf Boosted by Jon Rahm's Transition to Saudi Arabia-Backed Circuit.

Tyrrell Hatton expressed that deciding whether to join the LIV Golf League was extremely challenging. He mentioned that the decision was so tough that he wished someone else could have made it for him.

The 32-year-old English golfer, a consistent member of the past three European Ryder Cup teams, recently joined the Saudi Arabia-backed LIV Golf League in February, following his teammate Jon Rahm's decision.

As he prepares to compete in the upcoming Masters, Hatton understands the importance of his performances in this year's major tournaments, which will significantly impact his chances of participating in the four biggest events in the men's golf calendar.

Hatton's move to the LIV Golf League, reportedly worth £50 million, came after careful consideration during the Dubai Desert Classic in January.

Ultimately, he made the decision at the last minute to participate in LIV's 2024 opening tournament in Mexico rather than the PGA Tour event at Pebble Beach that same week.
