Sports administrator Narinder Dhruv Batra resigned from IOA President, FIH Chief, IOC Council Member.

Veteran sports administrator Narinder Batra resigned as president of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) and also gave up his membership of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The 65-year-old, Narinder Batra wrote three separate letters to the IOA secretary general, the FIH executive board and IOC president stating that he is resigning from all the posts due to personal issue.

Batra, who had been re-elected to the post in May 2021 for a second term, cited personal reasons for his resignation from the FIH and the IOC.

Narinder Dhruv Batra had been removed as the president of the Indian Olympic Association by the Delhi High Court in May 2022.
