Rory McIlroy recently confirmed that he intends to stick with the PGA Tour "for the rest of my career," putting an end to speculations about a lucrative switch to LIV Golf.
A recent report by City AM suggested that Rory McIlroy had been offered a staggering $850 million to join the Saudi Arabian-backed LIV Golf circuit.
However, McIlroy refuted this claim in an interview with Golf Channel, stating, "I honestly don't know how these things get started."
The Northern Irishman, aged 34, clarified, "I've never been offered a number from LIV and have never contemplated going to LIV."
McIlroy has been openly critical of LIV Golf since its inception in 2022.
