Rohit Sharma Achieves Milestone: First Indian to Smash 500 Sixes in T20 Cricket.

Rohit Sharma made history during an intense IPL match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday.

The ex-Mumbai Indians captain hammered a blazing 105 runs off just 63 balls as his team, the five-time champions, chased down the target of 207.

During the 11th over of the second innings, the 36-year-old achieved a historic feat by hitting Ravindra Jadeja for a six. This made Rohit the first Indian batsman to achieve this milestone.

Rohit scored only his second IPL century, his first since 2012, with 11 fours and five sixes in his 63-ball innings.

However, despite his outstanding performance, the rest of the team didn't provide enough support, even though the pitch at Wankhede Stadium was good for batting.

CSK secured their first away victory this season, dealing Mumbai Indians their fourth loss in six matches, which kept them at the eighth position. CSK, on the other hand, climbed to third place with eight points.

During the match, the biggest cheers were for Dhoni, while Mumbai's captain Pandya faced intermittent booing.

However, there was a section of fans that cheered him on at least once, similar to the support he received in the last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
