Robert Sarver has announced to sell his NBA club, Phoenix Suns.

Robert Sarver the major share holder of NBA's Phoenix Suns and the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury has announced to sell his share after he received a one-year suspension from the NBA and a $10 million fine for racist and sexist workplace conduct.

The charges that were filed against Sarver was that he repeatedly use the word N when retelling the statements of others as well as made many sex-related comments in the workplace.

Hearing about Robert Sarver, the major sponsor PayPal said it would not renew its deal with the team if Sarver were still involved whereas Suns vice chairman Jahm Najafi called for Sarver to resign.

For the above reasons, Robert Sarver was forced to sell his shares of Suns and Mercury. Sarver's decision was welcomed by NBA commissioner Adam Silver as well as Sarver's co-owners and the NBA Players' Association.
