Raducanu Set for Showdown with Boulter in Nottingham Open Semis.

Emma Raducanu is set to face fellow Briton Katie Boulter in the Nottingham Open semi-finals. This marks Raducanu's first WTA semi-final since 2022, following Fran Jones' withdrawal from their quarter-final match.

Jones, 23, was set to play Raducanu on Saturday in a rain-delayed match from Friday, but had to withdraw due to a shoulder injury.

"With the big events coming up, I can't take many risks," said Jones, with Wimbledon starting on July 1.

British number one Katie Boulter, 27, the defending champion, made it to the semi-finals by defeating Poland's fifth seed Magdalena Frech in straight sets on Friday.

Former US Open winner Emma Raducanu, 21, skipped the French Open to focus on her fitness for Wimbledon. She has reached the semi-finals in Nottingham after victories over Ena Shibahara and Daria Snigur.

Saturday's play was delayed by bad weather but resumed at 14:30 BST with the quarter-final between Tunisian top seed Ons Jabeur and Czech player Karolina Pliskova.

Raducanu will face Boulter next, while Diane Parry from France and Australia's Kimberly Birrell will compete in the last quarter-final match on court one.
