PR Sreejesh and Aman Sehrawat Return to India After Paris Olympic Triumphs.

Retired Indian men's hockey goalkeeper PR Sreejesh and wrestler Aman Sehrawat returned to India on Tuesday after the conclusion of the Summer Olympic Games in Paris.

PR Sreejesh and Aman Sehrawat received a grand welcome at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport upon their return from Paris.

Sreejesh, a key part of India’s hockey team, helped secure a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics, marking India’s second consecutive Olympic bronze after their success in Tokyo.

While many of his teammates returned home earlier, Sreejesh stayed in Paris to serve as India’s flag-bearer alongside Manu Bhaker at the closing ceremony, chosen by the Indian Olympic Association (IOA).

Before the Olympics, Sreejesh had announced that Paris would be his final international tournament.

The 36-year-old retired from international hockey on a high note, as India defeated Spain to win the bronze medal, giving him a fitting farewell.
