Potter Praises Southgate and Sets Sights on Next Challenge.

Graham Potter has announced he is "ready" to return to football management, with reports suggesting he is a candidate for the England job.

Gareth Southgate stepped down as manager just two days after England's 2-1 loss to Spain in the Euro 2024 final.

At 49, Potter is seen as a strong candidate to replace Southgate. Other potential successors include Newcastle's Eddie Howe and England Under-21 coach Lee Carsley.

Potter's last managerial role was with Chelsea until he was let go in April 2023.

Reflecting on his break, Potter shared with Sky Sports, "I've had a good rest and had time to explore other interests. I'm now eager and prepared for the next challenge."

Potter has managed clubs like Ostersund, Swansea, and Brighton, and is looking forward to returning to football management when the right opportunity arises.
