The Philadelphia Eagles scripted their best start in franchise history after claiming 29-17 thrilling victory over the Houston Texans and has improved to a league-best 8-0 on the new NFL season.
Tied at halftime and for the first time this season they had not led after two quarters, the Eagles out-scored the Texans 15-3 in the second half to pull away Texans quarterback Davis Mills twice to seize the victory.
Philadelphia's quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 21-of-27 passes for 234 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He has now won 11 straight starts.
