Tennis legends Rafael Nadal of Spain and Novak Djokovic of Serbia possibly faced each other for the final time in a competitive men's singles match at the Paris Olympics 2024.
Djokovic dominated Nadal in the opening set, winning 6-1. Although Nadal put up a tougher fight in the second set, Djokovic ultimately secured a straight-sets victory, taking the second set 6-4.
For a while, it looked like Djokovic would breeze through the second set just as easily as the first. However, Nadal managed to turn things around, breaking back after over an hour of intense play.
Despite his efforts, the two-time Olympic champion found himself facing too steep a challenge to mount a full comeback, and Djokovic ultimately secured the win.
