Leclerc Realizes 'Ultimate Dream' with Thrilling Victory.

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc revealed he had "tears in my eyes" as he neared fulfilling his "ultimate dream" of winning the Monaco Grand Prix.

Charles Leclerc's journey to winning the Monaco Grand Prix has been a long time coming, with fate often standing in his way. This victory, however, was all the more special when it finally arrived.

Born and raised in Monaco, the 26-year-old Leclerc grew up dreaming of this moment. As a child, he watched the race from friends' balconies overlooking the track, fueling his ambition to become a Formula 1 driver.

Tragically, he lost his father, Herve, to cancer a year before his debut in F1. Despite securing pole position in Monaco twice before, victory had eluded him until now.

Leclerc dedicated this win to his father, saying, "My father did everything for me to get to where I am today. Our dream was to race and win Monaco in F1.

Winning this race with Ferrari was the ultimate dream, right before becoming world champion."

He also acknowledged his mother's unwavering support, especially after his father's passing. With his family in the pits and friends watching around the track, Leclerc described the moment as "very, very special."
