Italy's Lamont Marcell Jacobs bagged the 100m men's title while Dina Asher-Smith finished last in the Women's 100m in Munich.

It was a remarkable night to remember on the second day of the European athletics championships as all the six gold medals was awarded in an exciting fashion.

In the 100m men's sprint event, Italy's Lamont Marcell Jacobs finished the finishing line clocking 9.95 seconds to clinch the title, Zharnel Hughes clocked 9.99 seconds to finish second in the podium and Jeremiah Azu took bronze in a time of 10.13 seconds.

On the other hand, in the women's 100m final, 25-year-old Gina Luckenkemper bagged the gold medal clocking 10.99 seconds, Switzerland's Mujinga Kambundji took silver with 10.99 (.989) and Great Britain's Daryll Neita wins the bronze with a time of 11.00 seconds.
