Flanker Botham Joins Wales' Summer Squad in Surprise Call-Up.

Cardiff flanker James Botham has been included in Wales' men's training squad for Saturday's game against South Africa and the upcoming tour of Australia.

James Botham, who last appeared for Wales in their 2024 Six Nations opener against Scotland in Cardiff before a knee injury sidelined him, has made a comeback to the squad. His inclusion brings the training group to 38 players, which will be narrowed down to 34 before the team departs for Australia.

Wales is set to play South Africa on June 22 at Twickenham, followed by two Tests against the Wallabies and a match against the Queensland Reds in Australia.

However, Wales' England-based players won't be available for the South Africa game as it falls outside World Rugby's international window.
