Boxer Johnny Fisher credits his social-media star dad for keeping him "level-headed and grounded" as he aims to climb the heavyweight rankings.

Johnny Fisher made headlines by stopping Alen Babic in just 36 seconds at London's Copper Box Arena last weekend, maintaining his undefeated streak of 12 wins as a professional.

His father, 'Big' John Fisher, boasts a YouTube channel with 44,000 subscribers and shares content on TikTok, often featuring his passion for Chinese cuisine.

"He's my biggest supporter and critic," Fisher revealed to BBC Essex. "He praises me publicly, but behind closed doors, he's honest with me. That's what a good dad does—always tells you the truth."

"He knows what's best for me, and I trust his advice," Fisher continued. "If I haven't trained well or slacked off, he's the first to remind me. It's tough love, but it keeps me focused and disciplined."
