Draper Triumphs Over Tiafoe to Secure Stuttgart Open Semi-Final Spot.

Britain's Jack Draper advanced to the Stuttgart Open semi-finals with a hard-fought three-set victory over defending champion Frances Tiafoe.

Jack Draper, 22, overcame a set deficit to defeat 28th-ranked Frances Tiafoe 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (7-1).

Despite missing a match point at 5-4 in the third set, Draper secured victory with a superb serving display, hitting 31 aces.

The sixth seed will face Brandon Nakashima in the semi-finals. After missing last year's grass-court season due to a shoulder injury, Draper is set to enter Wimbledon as the British number one.

This follows Cameron Norrie's loss to Jack Pinnington Jones at the Nottingham Open, which ensures Draper will be the leading Brit on Monday.

Rain Disrupts Nottingham Open Matches

Katie Boulter was on a roll, leading 4-2 in the first set of her Nottingham Open quarter-final against Magdalena Frech.

The British number one had just broken Frech's serve and was eyeing another break point when rain abruptly paused the match.

Earlier in the tournament, Fran Jones fought her way into the quarter-finals with a hard-fought three-set victory over Ashlyn Krueger. Although their match was suspended at 6-4, 4-6, 6-5 (30-30) due to rain, Jones eventually sealed the win and is now set to face fellow Brit Emma Raducanu in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, top seed Ons Jabeur had claimed the first set 6-2 in her last-16 match against Linda Fruhvirtova before rain disrupted play.
