Daley Reflects: 'I Can Look Back and Be Proud'.

After making his Olympic debut as a teenager sixteen years ago, Tom Daley has announced his retirement from diving.

Britain's most decorated diver is retiring with five Olympic medals to his name.

At just 14, Tom Daley made his Olympic debut in Beijing 2008. Fast forward 5,831 days, and he competed in his fifth Games in Paris, winning silver in the men’s synchro 10m platform with Noah Williams.

Before the Paris Games, Daley shared his emotional journey with BBC Sport, reflecting on his career marked by Olympic gold, his father's death, marriage to Dustin Lance Black, becoming a father, stepping away from diving, and then making a comeback.

After the Games, he discussed his decision to retire with the BBC.
