Crawford Triumphs Over Madrimov to Claim Another World Title.

Terence Crawford won his fourth world title at different weights by beating Israil Madrimov to claim the WBA light-middleweight crown in Los Angeles.

In a thrilling night at BMO Stadium, the 36-year-old American boxing star, Crawford, cemented his legendary status with a unanimous decision victory, pushing his unbeaten record to an impressive 41 fights.

Known for his remarkable achievements, Crawford has held world titles in lightweight, light-welterweight, and welterweight, and once again showcased his dominance with scorecards reading 116-112, 115-113, and 115-113.

For 29-year-old Uzbek fighter Madrimov, this bout marked the first blemish on his previously unblemished 11-fight career.

The clash highlighted Crawford's enduring prowess and solidified his reputation as one of the sport's elite champions.

Crawford praised his opponent, Israil Madrimov, calling him a tough and durable competitor who pushed him to the 12th round for the first time since 2016.

“He’s strong, took a lot of good shots, and had quick speed and a solid rhythm,” Crawford noted. “I had to stay patient and not rush, even though I got caught a few times by trying to get too aggressive too soon.”

With this victory, Crawford has opened the door for a potential showdown with Mexico’s super-middleweight champion, Canelo Alvarez. “If the money is right, we’ve got to fight,” Crawford said, hinting at an exciting future bout.
