Catterall Withdraws from August Fight with Prograis Due to Injury.

Jack Catterall's light-welterweight fight against Regis Prograis, scheduled for August 24 in Manchester, has been cancelled due to an injury.

The fight was set to be the main event at the new 23,500-capacity Co-op Live arena. It’s uncertain if the card, which also includes a WBO lightweight title bout between Rhiannon Dixon and Terri Harper, will be rescheduled.

“For the first time in my 30-fight career, I’ve had to withdraw due to injury,” said the 31-year-old Catterall.

Catterall, from Chorley, has a record of 29 wins and one loss, a controversial points defeat to Josh Taylor in 2022.
