The Basketball team Brooklyn Nets have officially terminated their head coach Steve Nash following the star-laden team's 2-5 start to the NBA season.
According to the teams' statement the decision was taken under mutual concern.
Nash, a Hall of Fame player who won two NBA MVP awards, has coached the Nets since 2020, leading them on two unsuccessful playoff runs.
Jacque Vaughn will be Brooklyn's acting head coach against the Bulls.
The Nets are reportedly looking at suspended Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka and former Utah Jazz coach Quin Snyder as options to replace Nash.
