Australia's Ebden and Peers Claim Men's Doubles Gold.

Matthew Ebden and John Peers rallied from a set and a break down to defeat America's Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram, securing Olympic gold for Australia in the men’s doubles at Paris.

In a thrilling first-to-10 match tie-break, Ebden and Peers clinched a 6-7 (6-8) 7-6 (7-1) 10-8 victory with their fourth match point.

Peers, who previously won bronze in the mixed doubles with Ash Barty in Tokyo, now adds a gold medal to his collection.

Ram, 40, missed out on his first Olympic gold despite his four Grand Slam doubles titles with Briton Joe Salisbury.

Australia’s win marked the first of four medal matches held at Roland Garros on Saturday.

China's Zheng Qinwen will face Croatia's Donna Vekic for gold in the women’s singles, with the bronze medals in the men’s singles and men’s doubles also up for grabs.
