Ange Postecoglou Commends Richarlison from Spurs for Openness About Mental Health.

Tottenham's Manager Ange Postecoglou Praises Richarlison's Candidness About Mental Health, Believes it Will Encourage Others Seeking Support.

Recently, Brazilian forward Richarlison opened up about how seeking psychological assistance "saved his life." The 26-year-old mentioned that he had hit "rock bottom," but therapy helped him turn things around.

Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham, commended Richarlison, saying, "It's a credit to him. I think the public aspect of it is a brave decision for him."

Richarlison has been in excellent form, scoring nine goals in his last 13 games for Spurs and earning 48 caps for Brazil.

"He has really benefited from the support available, not just for himself but for others in the community," added Postecoglou.

"Because he has experienced the benefits firsthand, he's taken on the responsibility of sharing that with others now.

"It's always impactful when someone high-profile or in a position we perceive as not having any issues or showing weakness seeks help and support."
