Hungary's Kristof Milak thrilled home fans by breaking his own world record in the men's 200 butterfly at the swimming world championships. The 22-year-old Milak finishes off the 200m in just 1 minute and 50.34 seconds and awarded Hungary their first gold medal of the competition in Budapest.
Thomas Ceccon broke the first world record of the World Aquatics Championships 2022 and recreates a new record by winning the 100m backstroke. Previously the record was named to Ryan Murphy who finishes the 100m backstroke diving in 51.85 seconds in 2016. Breaking the record Thomas Ceccon finishes off the 100m backstroke diving in just 51.60 seconds which is just 0.25 seconds better than Murphy.
Team England has announced their 18-strong diving squad for this summer's Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Tom Daley the gold medal winner in Tokyo last year in the men's 10m platform event was excluded from the squad though his fellow partner Matty Lee is named in the final list of the diving squad.

The condition at Kuortane Games was wet and slippery, it was a challenge for Neeraj. Though slipped once his first and final legal throw of 86.69m was enough to bag the gold medal for his country.
