Victorious Victory: Cross Triumphs Over Humphries in Baltic Sea Darts Open.

Rob Cross staged a thrilling comeback to defeat the top-ranked player, Luke Humphries, with a final score of 8-6 at the Baltic Sea Darts Open held in Kiel, Germany.

In an electrifying turn of events, Luke Humphries showcased his brilliance with a stunning nine-dart finish, securing a 5-3 lead.

However, Rob Cross refused to yield, mounting a remarkable comeback by claiming five of the next six legs. This remarkable display earned Cross his second PDC European Tour title at the Baltic Sea Darts Open in Kiel, Germany.

Humphries, despite his incredible performance, finished as the event's runner-up for the second consecutive year. His journey to the final included a hard-fought 6-4 victory over Ross Smith in the third round, followed by a convincing 6-3 win against Michael van Gerwen in the quarter-finals and a 7-4 triumph over Danny Noppert in the semi-finals.

On the other hand, Cross navigated his way through tough competition by defeating Stephen Bunting 6-5 and Ritchie Edhouse 6-5 in earlier rounds. He secured his spot in the final with a solid 7-4 win over Madars Razma.

Notably, Luke Littler, a dominant force in previous European Tour events this season with three wins, faced an unexpected exit after losing to Wessel Nijman in the tournament's opening day.
