Andrew Flintoff is advancing his coaching career as he takes on the role of head coach for England Lions for the coming year.
The 46-year-old ex-England all-rounder, Andrew Flintoff, returned to cricket last year after a serious facial injury from a Top Gear accident.
Since then, he has worked with the England white-ball team, coached Northern Superchargers in The Hundred, and is currently assisting the England Test side for the series finale against Sri Lanka.
Flintoff will begin his role as head coach of England Lions next month.
The team has winter tours planned to South Africa and Australia, followed by home matches against India A and Zimbabwe next summer.
