Rookie Sensation Barkley Shines as Eagles Soar Over Packers in Brazil Showdown.

Saquon Barkley made an impressive debut, scoring three touchdowns as the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers 34-29 in the first-ever NFL game held in South America.

Saquon Barkley had 24 carries for 109 yards and two touchdowns, along with two catches for 23 yards and a touchdown, in his debut at Arena Corinthians, São Paulo.

The 27-year-old, who joined from the Giants this offseason, became the second Eagles player after Terrell Owens in 2004 to score three touchdowns in their debut.

"I just needed that first hit to get going," Barkley said.

This game marked the first of five NFL regular-season matchups outside the U.S. this season, with three games in London and one in Munich coming up.
