Unfortunate Incident: Djokovic Hit by Water Bottle During Italian Open.

Novak Djokovic experienced an unexpected moment at the Italian Open when a water bottle struck him on the head as he was signing autographs following his victory.

A video circulating on social media captured the moment when world number one Novak Djokovic fell to the ground after being hit by a water bottle thrown from the stands.

Tournament organizers clarified that the incident was accidental, as the hard bottle had fallen out of a spectator's bag while a fan leaned over to get an autograph.

Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam champion, remained on the ground briefly before being assisted out of the arena by security personnel. Organizers reassured that Djokovic underwent necessary checks and left for his hotel, with no serious concerns about his condition.

The incident occurred as Djokovic was interacting with fans after his victorious match against France's Corentin Moutet. He was signing autographs when the water bottle unexpectedly struck him on the head.
