UFC Manchester Unveiled: Bisping's 4am Fight and the Emergence of 'Rocky'.

Nearly eight years ago, Michael Bisping stepped out of the depths of the Manchester Arena to defend his UFC middleweight title. It was a momentous occasion that marked a defining chapter in his career and the arena’s storied history.

At around 4:46 AM BST, Manchester’s own Michael Bisping faced a tough battle against Dan Henderson but managed to retain his UFC middleweight title, making it a historic night for British MMA.

This Saturday at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, Leon 'Rocky' Edwards will defend his welterweight title against Belal Muhammad, following in Bisping’s footsteps.

On October 8, 2016, during a previous UFC event in Manchester, only two out of 11 fights went the distance, with a young Edwards securing a dramatic last-round submission victory over Albert Tumenov.
