Britain's Jack Draper fell short in his bid for his maiden ATP Tour title, surrendering to Jiri Lehecka in the Adelaide International final with a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 defeat.
In the showdown, 22-year-old Draper faced a setback after dominating early against Lehecka. A dip in the second set cost him five consecutive losses.
Lehecka levelled the match at 4-4 and secured a 3-0 lead in the deciding set.
Draper, despite moments of frustration and a warning, remains optimistic, viewing the experience as a stepping stone to future successes. His world ranking is set to climb to 55th after this performance.
