Sinner Cruises Past Eubanks in Paris Tournament Opener.

Jannik Sinner, the Australian Open champion, easily defeated Christopher Eubanks to kick off his French Open journey with a strong start.

Italy's Jannik Sinner, who dealt with a hip injury leading up to Roland Garros, displayed a solid performance in his 6-3 6-3 6-4 victory against Christopher Eubanks.

Sinner showed little sign of struggle, except when serving to close the match, where he faced two break points due to a double fault before recovering to secure the win.

"The hip is good, I am very happy," said the 22-year-old. "The general shape is not at 100% yet so we try to build every day."

Sinner's impressive play included 33 winners and saving nine out of ten break points against Eubanks. He will now face Richard Gasquet in the next round.

Reflecting on his recent achievements, Sinner commented, "I'm happy about what I've achieved in the last months. The goal is to improve every day."

Weather conditions caused delays in the morning's matches, with Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Daniil Medvedev among the players set to compete on Monday.
