Shakeup in Marseille: Gennaro Gattuso Axed, Jean-Louis Gasset Takes Helm.

Marseille's management has made a decisive move, parting ways with Gennaro Gattuso as manager and appointing Jean-Louis Gasset to lead the team.

Gattuso assumed his role at the French club in late September, but his tenure concludes with Marseille positioned ninth in Ligue 1.

During his time in charge, the Italian managed only nine victories out of 24 matches, facing defeat on six occasions.

Meanwhile, Gasset, aged 70, was previously dismissed by Ivory Coast following the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations. Despite this setback, Ivory Coast went on to triumph in the tournament.
