Sabalenka Dominates, Secures Spot in Italian Open Semifinals.

Aryna Sabalenka, the world's second-ranked player, secured her spot in the Italian Open semifinals with a comfortable victory over the ninth seed, Jelena Ostapenko.

In just over an hour, Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus defeated Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia with a score of 6-2, 6-4, securing her spot in the Italian Open semifinals.

Sabalenka, a two-time Grand Slam champion, will now face either Victoria Azarenka from Belarus or American 13th seed Danielle Collins in the last four in Rome.

A potential showdown with world number one Iga Swiatek awaits in the final, setting the stage for a rematch of their recent Madrid Open final, which Swiatek won in a thrilling manner.

Swiatek's semifinal opponent is world number three Coco Gauff, marking the first time since the 2013 French Open that the top three women's players have reached the semifinals of a WTA event of 250 level or higher.
