Rodri and Cucurella Included in Spain's Provisional Euro Squad.

Rodri from Manchester City, Marc Cucurella from Chelsea, and Arsenal's loaned goalkeeper David Raya have been included in Spain's preliminary squad for the upcoming European Championships this summer.

Aston Villa's Pau Torres and Tottenham's Pedro Porro did not make it into the squad.

Luis de la Fuente announced a 29-player squad that needs to be trimmed down by three before the June 7 deadline.

Barcelona's Lamine Yamal (16) and Pau Cubarsi (17) made the cut, alongside first-time call-ups Fermin Lopez and former Newcastle player Ayoze Perez for La Roja.

Paris St-Germain's Marco Asensio, with 38 caps, was left out.

De la Fuente took over as coach in December 2022 after Luis Enrique. Under him, Spain won the Nations League in 2023, their first major trophy in 11 years.

Spain, previous European champions in 2008 and 2012, face a tough group with Italy, Croatia, and Albania. Their campaign starts on June 15 against Croatia in Berlin.
