Pattison Climbs to Second on British 800m All-Time List.

Ben Pattison jumped to second place behind Sebastian Coe on the all-time list of British men's 800m runners during the Monaco Diamond League, just ahead of the Paris Olympics.

Ben Pattison, 22, achieved a personal best of 1:42.27 in the men's 800m race, placing fifth in a highly competitive field. This time moves him past Steve Cram on the British all-time list, with only Sebastian Coe ahead of him, who set a world record of 1:41.73 in 1981.

In other events, Dina Asher-Smith took third place in the women's 100m with a time of 10.99 seconds. Molly Caudery cleared 4.83m to secure third in the women's pole vault, won by Nina Kennedy of Australia with 4.88m.

Norwegian Jakob Ingebrigtsen set a European record of 3:26.73 in the men's 1500m, gearing up for the Olympics and a anticipated clash with world champion Josh Kerr.

Neil Gourley finished fifth in the 1500m with a season's best of 3:30.65, while Elliot Giles placed 13th with a time of 3:40.72. Both are preparing for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
