Murphy Stages Comeback to Secure Spot in Shanghai Masters Final.

Shaun Murphy staged an impressive comeback, winning five straight frames to advance to the Shanghai Masters final with a 10-8 win over Mark Selby.

Mark Selby was in control with an 8-5 lead, seemingly on his way to a third Shanghai Masters final, but Shaun Murphy mounted a stunning comeback. After trailing 6-2 earlier in the day, Murphy clawed his way back to 6-5 and then surged ahead by winning five consecutive frames.

Selby, a past Shanghai Masters champion and runner-up, had initially pulled ahead with breaks of 53, 72, and 53. But Murphy's resilience turned the tide.

Murphy now awaits the winner of the other semi-final between Ronnie O'Sullivan and Judd Trump, who will clash on Saturday.
