With so many sports packed into the Olympics, some events start before the opening ceremony. On July 24, get ready for a thrilling doubleheader featuring France versus the USA.

At 15:30, France’s men’s rugby sevens team, including captain Antoine Dupont, faces the US.

France didn't compete in rugby sevens at Tokyo 2020, but their women’s team won silver. Later, at 20:00, Thierry Henry will coach the French men's football team in their group opener against the US in Marseille.

The US men haven't competed in the Olympics since 2008 and haven't won a medal since 1904.
