GB's Dujardin Hit with Temporary Ban, Misses Out on Games.

Charlotte Dujardin, Britain’s top female Olympian, has been temporarily suspended for six months by the FEI, the governing body for equestrian sports.

Dressage star Charlotte Dujardin has withdrawn from the Paris 2024 Games and faces a provisional six-month suspension by the FEI.

The suspension follows a video that reportedly shows her engaging in inappropriate conduct during a training session at her private stable.

The video, which the FEI confirmed was filmed several years ago, appears to show Dujardin using a whip excessively on a horse.

A lawyer representing the complainant who filed the official complaint noted the serious potential consequences for Dujardin and mentioned that the decision to bring the matter forward was carefully considered.

Dujardin, who has won six Olympic medals, has acknowledged her presence in the video and has requested the provisional suspension while the investigation continues. She has decided to withdraw from all competitions during this period.
