Andy Murray Announces Retirement Plans Following Paris Olympics.

Andy Murray has officially announced that he will hang up his tennis racket after competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics. 

This milestone event will mark the end of an illustrious career for the British tennis legend, who has captivated fans worldwide with his skill, determination, and memorable matches. 

As Murray gears up for his final tournament, the tennis world is buzzing with anticipation to see him one last time on the Olympic stage.

The 37-year-old Andy Murray plans to compete in both singles and doubles at his fifth Olympics.

"Arrived in Paris for my last ever tennis tournament," Murray shared on X. "Competing for Team GB has been by far the most memorable weeks of my career, and I'm extremely proud to do it one final time!"

Murray's Olympic journey began in Beijing 2008, where he lost in the first round. He then made a stunning comeback at London 2012, winning gold by defeating Roger Federer. 

In Rio 2016, he made history by becoming the first male tennis player to win two Olympic singles titles after beating Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro.
