16-Year-Old Davison's Olympic Debut: A ‘Wild Ride’ Begins.

Sixteen-year-old swimmer Grace Davison is calling her Olympic debut in Paris "the biggest thing I've ever done." For Davison, stepping onto the Olympic stage is not just a milestone—it's a dream come true.

"It's surreal," she says, reflecting on the magnitude of the moment. "This is more than I ever imagined, and I'm ready to give it my all."

After recently finishing her GCSEs, Grace Davison competed in the women's 4x100m freestyle relay alongside Danielle Hill, Erin Riordan, and Victoria Catterson. The Irish team placed eighth in their heat, which featured powerhouses like the United States and Team GB.

Describing the experience as "overwhelming," Davison compared the atmosphere at La Defense Arena to a massive concert. "It's been amazing," she told BBC Sport NI. "It feels as big as when I saw Taylor Swift a few weeks ago."
