The Dutch rider, Marianne Vos, a multiple world champion, won stage two of the Tour de France Femmes 2022 and took hold on the leader's yellow jersey from Lorena Wiebes.

Denmark's Team Jumbo–Visma rider Jonas Vingegaard was crowned as the overall champion of Tour de France 2022 title. This is his first Tour de France victory. Belgium's Alpecin-Deceuninck rider Jasper Philipsen won the final stage 21 (Paris La Defense Arena to Champs-Elysees, 116 km) of the 109th edition of Tour de France.

Denmark's Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo–Visma) showed a class ride and bagged the Stage 18 of Tour de France 2022 by cycling about 143.5 kilometers (89.2 miles) with start in Lourdes and finished in Hautacam, France.

Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates) blew away Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) to clinch victory in Stage 17 of Tour de France 2022. Its a track of 129.7-km mountain trek from Saint Gaudens to Peyragudes.

Canada's Hugo Houle became the first Canadian rider in 34 years to win stage victory at Tour de France. Hugo Houle claimed the stage 16 victory with a brilliant solo ride in Foix.

Belgian Jasper Philipsen claimed his maiden victory on the Tour de France when he won in the 15th stage as overall leader Jonas Vingegaard and his team suffered a bad day.
