Britain's Tom Pidcock (Ineos Grenadiers) claims his first stage win on the iconic Alpe d'Huez with a thrilling solo win on Stage 12 of the 2022 Tour de France. Tom Pidcock became the youngest winner on the Alpe d'Huez as he made his tour debut at the age of 22.

Jonas Vingegaard produced a sensational performance to win Stage 11 of the Tour de France and grabbed overall leader's yellow jersey from Tadej Pogacar. Jumbo-Visma's Vingegaard now leads the general classification, more than two minutes clear of Bardet and Pogacar, who drops down to third.

Denmark's Magnus Cort Nielsen won a two-man sprint in a photo-finish to claim the 10th stage of the Tour de France of a hilly trek in the Alps. The tenth stage of the Tour de France cycling race was over 148.5 kilometers (92.3 miles) with start in Morzine les Portes du Soleil and finish in Megeve.

The Netherland's Annemiek van Vleuten (Movistar) clinched her third Giro d'Italia Donne title. The Dutchwoman previously won the overall title in 2018 and 2019 and this is the third time in her career she wins the Giro d'Italia Donne title.

Luxembourg's Bob Jungels has comfortably claimed his first Tour de France stage win on stage nine, a 192km Alpine race through Switzerland to the French border. The 29-year-old Jungels, is the primary rider from Luxembourg to win a stage on the Tour since Andy Schleck in 2011.

Tadej Pogacar won his second Tour de France stage in a row in the first summit finish of the race to extend his lead in the yellow jersey. Just 24 hours after taking the sixth stage and securing the yellow jersey, the Slovenian rider of UAE Team Emirates won the seventh stage of road cycling's 2022 Tour as well as increased his overall lead.

Two-times defending champion Tadej Pogacar won the sixth and longest stage of road cycling's of Tour de France 2022 and stormed into to grab the overall lead. With a terrific effort Tadej Pogacar claims the victory and snatched the overall leader's yellow jersey from Wout van Aert.
