After winning the first stage the Dutch rider Lorena Wiebes (Team DSM) sealed her place in sporting immortality as the first female rider to pull on the yellow jersey in this modern era of women's cycling.

Lorena Wiebes edged out three-time road world champion Marianne Vos (Jumbo-Visma) to claim the leader's yellow jersey with the historic win on the on Pari's most iconic venue Champs-Elysees.

Belgian's Lotte Kopecky wins the third spot after a narrow win over Italian Rachele Barbieri in the flat 82-kilometer (51-mile) circuit in course around the Champs-Elysees.
