World Athletics Championships: Jamaica's Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce clinched women's 100m title for 5th time.

Jamaica's speedster Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryceher made her way to the top of the sprint game after winning her fifth 100 meters world title at the world championships 2022 in Oregon.

She bagged the title after knocking off Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce became the first person to win five world titles in an individual running event and, at the age of 35, became the oldest world champion in an individual event on the track.

Shericka Jackson finishes in the second spot and Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah settled at the third spot in the podium in World Athletics Championships 2022.
