Ukraine Edges Out Great Britain for European Men's Team Final Gold.

Ukraine narrowly beat Great Britain to claim gold in the men's team final at the Gymnastics European Championships held in Rimini, Italy.

Great Britain initially led the competition before Ukraine's exceptional performance in the final stage secured them first place with a total score of 255.762.

Great Britain took home the silver medal with an overall score of 255.429, just 0.333 points behind the winners, while Italy claimed the bronze with a score of 252.560.

The British team, led by European vault gold medalist and world champion Jake Jarman, showcased their strength on the vault and parallel bars. However, Ukraine's high bar performance narrowly outscored Great Britain, leading to their victory.

The British team members included Harry Hepworth, Joe Fraser, Courtney Tulloch, and James Hall. Despite missing out on the gold, Hall expressed immense pride in the team's performance and the silver medal achievement.

"We're so close and we're all on a journey together as one and we've achieved so much," said Hall.

The men's team silver adds to Jarman's vault gold and Luke Whitehouse's floor gold earlier in the week, further highlighting Great Britain's success at the Gymnastics European Championships.
