Timberwolves Make History with Series Win.

The Minnesota Timberwolves achieved a significant milestone by winning a playoff series for the first time in 20 years. They secured this historic victory by defeating the Phoenix Suns with a score of 122-116, completing a 4-0 sweep in the Western Conference first-round matchup.

Anthony Edwards led the scoring with an impressive 40 points, 31 of which came in the second half, and he also contributed nine rebounds to the Minnesota Timberwolves' victory.

Karl-Anthony Towns added 28 points and 10 rebounds, while Jaden McDaniels chipped in with 18 points.

Despite stellar performances from Suns' stars Devin Booker, who scored a career-high 49 points, and Kevin Durant with 33 points, the Timberwolves managed to secure the win.

The victory means the Timberwolves advance to the Western Conference semi-finals, where they will face either the Denver Nuggets or the Los Angeles Lakers.

Minnesota had to finish the game without coach Chris Finch, who was helped off the court for treatment after colliding with his own player Mike Conley.

In another game, the Indiana Pacers comfortably defeated the understrength Milwaukee Bucks 126-113, taking a 3-1 lead in their Eastern Conference first-round series.

The Bucks were missing injured players Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Bobby Portis was ejected early in the game.
